Julie thanks for the idea of placing furniture into a different room. In my case i need the mirror dressser and a 2nd dresser to store my husband’s and my personal items. I just want my bedroom to be a relaxing place to sleep in, my bed is a queen size that has no headboard and probably to big for my bedroom but I’m downsizing and getting rid of the clutter with 2 cabinets that are 77″H, 22″W 16″ D that will give me a place to put my clothes, I have a cedar chest to go at the end of the bed and a jewelry cabinet and that’s all the furniture I will be putting in my bedroom for now. I have sheers and blackout drapes layered over my window.

We are doing several of these. 1 window treatment on one of the 2 windows. Bed in front of a window. But the only other option is the wall our room shares with the living room. 🤷♀️ About the only thing we’ve got right, right now is not having matching furniture. Lol But in my defense, we just moved and left some things behind like the bed frame. Or have not had the extra funds to buy like an area rug. We have been in the house for 7 months and are getting ready to try and fix up this place. First thing I want fixed is the front porch for the safety of my 5 kids, but the first room I want to do is the master. So we have a nice place to go after working on the rest of the house. For all the help I need I don’t think this venue will be enough. Lol, but thank you for this video. It has helped some and I’m trying to look around the internet for more things to help me out. Be blessed

Help!!!! What about low ceilings? fixtures.I don’t really like flush mount but I can add recessed cans but should i have a statement light in the middle??? I have never dealt with low 8 foot ceilings before
Keep the recessed lighting for functionality, add a flush mount or semi-flush for visual interest Donna

Bathroom Esther. Bedroom is bad Feng Shui and laundry room is not functional if it’s too far away

I dont see anything wrong in to have bed, bed tables and build in wardrobe from the same wood. expecialy when it comes to small room where the doors are different colour and the floor as well. Wouldnt go for diffrent furniture

I had ordered a matching set of bedside tables & dresser for simplicity but I switched to a wood dresser that I actually love. So thanks for the tip hehe !
I have an issue though : massive built-in closet with three plain white panels. I would like to do something with them but I’m not sure what. I thought about applying wallpaper – unsure if it’s a good idea. If you have any tips I’ll gladly take some. 🙂

I have only one window. I was planning on doing a roller type black out shade. Then hang linen style curtains lightweight. I’m thinking I should hang the hardware wider then the windows so that they just hang on the sides of the window. Is that good?

I prefer one for support, you can even DIY or purchase secondhand and reupholster yourself Maddie! Tons of videos on how to do this

Some dimmers get hotter than others because of their design. Be sure to read the directions about what type of lightbulbs are safe to use.
